A Break in Amsterdam

I'm back from Amsterdam complete with a little momentum in the form of a pair of miniature china clogs! I think I will change the ribbon and use them as a decoration on my Christmas tree when that time finally rolls around again. It's nice to collect little keep sakes from your travels don't you think? Anyway, Amsterdam is an amazing place and I would definitely recommend visiting. It is very chilled, especially compared to London so it was perfect for a relaxing weekend city break. The architecture is beautiful, the people super friendly, and there are some great places to shop, eat and drink!

Converse Three Ways

Converse are definitely up there when it comes to classic footwear, their timeless style makes them so versatile and easy to wear. 

Below I had fun styling them in three different ways...

The first look is a classic. For me Breton stripes, a leather jacket and Converse is the perfect combination and the ultimate in off-duty dressing.

Next up for something cosy and cool I  paired them with a pretty lace dress layered with an oversized angora jumper. The Converse balance the smartness of the dress and make this lacy number daywear appropriate.

Finally Converse add a great twist to tailoring, try them teamed with a structured blazer and jeans or tailored trousers and a slouchy tee.

And there you have it - Converse three ways!

Styling with Atoll by Sophie Robertson: The Green One

Next up in my styling collaboration with Atoll by Sophie Robertson is 'The Green One'. The print has derived from a photo Sophie took of the Green Spanish Shawl Nudibranch at the Great Barrier Reef. I love the black with a hint of rich emerald green, I think it fits in pretty perfectly with my existing accessories and adds a hint of colour too. I'd team it with a studded shoe and my boyfriends beanie. Also great for après yoga - soften up an athletic look by draping a beautiful silk scarf around your neck as you leave the gym!

Styling with ATOLL by Sophie Robertson

I'm so excited to share with you my latest piece from ATOLL, the debut accessory collection by British fashion photographer Sophie Robertson.

 I've been mesmerised by the print for a while now so I was super excited when my scarf arrived in the post earlier this week - the print features the moon jellyfish and is inspired by a series of underwater photographs Sophie took while diving at the Great Barrier Reef. I really miss Australia so I love how I can now bring a little bit of Aus into my life in London!
